The Bradenton FL IMG Academy Ascenders came out swinging in their game against The Burlington School Spartans (TBS) for a 62-44 win. The Ascenders fought their way to an 8 point lead at the end of the first quarter, but this seemed to only light a fire under the Spartans, who came back to close the gap to only 3 points during the third. The Southern Spartans pulled off a win Saturday morning in a 64-61 decision against the Petersburg VA Crimson Wave thanks to a game-winning 3-point basket by sophomore AJ Morman.
